From leak check to final verification
Inspection and leak verification come first. We identify refrigerant type and required factory charge, baseline system readings, and perform electronic leak detection, nitrogen pressure testing, and soap-solution confirmation. If leaks are found, we repair them and replace compromised components. Remaining refrigerant is recovered for reuse or reclamation in compliance with EPA 608.
After repairs, we install or replace a filter-drier as needed and pull a deep vacuum to below 500 microns, performing a decay test to confirm dryness and system integrity. Charging is performed by weight and verified by target superheat/subcool based on metering device and manufacturer charging charts, ensuring the correct charge in all operating conditions.
We finish with a full commissioning: stabilized pressures and temperatures, evaporator superheat, condenser subcool, amp draws, airflow verification where applicable, and control calibration.
